I'm always the one who writes first. Should I stop?

If you are always starting, initiation is not being shared. That can feel one-sided even when replies are warm. It does not by itself show whether the cause is habit, expectation or a difference in interest.

You can ask for more shared effort, or stop initiating because you want a break. Turning that break into a secret test adds a conclusion the silence cannot reliably provide; a direct conversation makes your expectation clearer.

The line you can send

Yours will sound different

Bring the message you keep rereading. The first reads are free, and nothing is sent to him.
