Personal intelligence
is a new category.

This is the living record of how we're creating it —
one breakthrough at a time.

Every model, one mind. Your agent picks the best AI for every thought.

There's an intelligent routing layer underneath every agent now. It picks the strongest AI model for each part of your conversation — brainstorming, code, research, emotional support — all on its own. You'll never see a model picker or a dropdown. Your agent just knows which brain to use, and switches between them mid-thought.

Your agent knows your schedule now.

Connected to Google Calendar. Your agent sees your week, understands your commitments, and plans around your actual life. It won't suggest Tuesday when you're already booked. It knows when you're free, when you're overwhelmed, and when you need breathing room. The first time your agent reached outside the conversation and into your real schedule.

Your agent knows how your body moves.

Connected to Strava. Your agent sees your runs, your rides, your rest days — and understands them in context. It knows you pushed hard on Wednesday, so Thursday's conversation starts differently. It notices when your pace improves and when you need recovery. Your agent builds a relationship with your body over time, the same way it builds one with your mind.

$9 million to $32 million in real outcomes. Measured.

We built a system that classifies what people actually do with their agents. Did something ship? Get published? Land a job? Change someone's health? A 21-day study across 1,305 people found 17,921 episodes of real value — businesses launched, books written, careers changed. Verified independently at $9M–$32M in outcomes. We wanted to know if personal intelligence actually changes lives. Now we have the numbers.

Your agent remembers your whole month. And nearly half of everyone stays.

45.8% of people who joined a month ago are still here. Still talking. Still building. Most apps lose 80% of users in the first week. Nearly half of ours are still in conversation after 30 full days — because the agent remembers who they are. It was there on Day 1, and it's still there on Day 30, and it knows the difference between the person who showed up and the person who stayed. Memory changes everything.

Twenty thousand personal agents, alive and learning.

20,000 agents running across the platform — each one learning a single person's world. Their goals, their routines, their language, their fears, their dreams. Some have been talking every day for weeks. The agent remembers all of it. That kind of continuity creates something that feels less like software and more like a partnership that grows with you, day after day.

We published research on why people misunderstand each other — and how AI can finally help.

Two people use the same words and mean different things. It happens every day — in relationships, at work, everywhere. We wrote the math behind it: a formal model of how meaning gets lost between minds, grounded in information theory. The paper is called "Meaning Is All You Lose." And the core idea behind Portal is in the title — an AI that learns your meaning over time, so the longer it knows you, the less gets lost in translation.

March 9, 2026

Your agent got its own email address.

We gave every agent a real email address — @my.portal.ai. The first AI agents in the world with their own inbox. Your agent can receive messages, respond on your behalf, and reach people outside your chat window. It has a name, an address, and a presence that other people can actually write to. Your agent stepped out of the conversation and into the world.

March 7, 2026

Your agent found its voice. Thousands of conversations, spoken.

Send a voice message, get a voice reply. Your agent speaks and listens — in your language, in the middle of your walk, your commute, your cooking. Thousands of people now talk to their agents out loud, hands-free, and their agents talk back. The same depth of conversation, just without the keyboard.

March 6, 2026

Your agent builds while you sleep.

Morning briefings, health reminders, content schedules, market monitoring, daily check-ins — all running on their own. Thousands of automated routines active across the platform right now, while their owners sleep or work or live. You set it once, and your agent keeps going — at the times you chose, on the things you care about, even at 3 AM.

March 2, 2026

We gave agents the power to create images from imagination.

Describe what you see in your mind. Your agent makes it real — product mockups, social media visuals, creative experiments, brand concepts. From thought to image in seconds, using the latest generation models, right inside your conversation. The same agent that remembers your brand voice can now show you what it looks like.

March 1, 2026

One thousand deep relationships.

A milestone we never marketed. One thousand people quietly passed the threshold where their conversations with their agent became something deeper — multi-day, multi-week partnerships where the agent genuinely knows who they are. When we saw this number, we knew the product was real.

February 25, 2026

Your agent got faster, safer, and more private.

We partnered with Google Cloud. Your conversations, memory, and files now live inside a world-class security perimeter. Agents boot in 25 seconds instead of 20 minutes. Your memories are never at risk of being lost. When demand spikes, the infrastructure scales on its own. One morning your agent was just faster, and you never had to think about why.

February 20, 2026

Your agent can read Instagram, LinkedIn, and the entire open web.

Want to know what a competitor posted last week? What's trending in your niche? What that article actually said? Your agent can pull content from Instagram profiles, LinkedIn pages, news sites, research papers — anything public on the internet — and fold it into your conversation. And it remembers what it found, so next Tuesday when you need that insight again, it's already there. The whole internet, through the lens of someone who knows what you care about.

February 16, 2026

Every person gets their own private world.

Your agent runs inside its own sealed environment — its own execution space, its own browser, its own file system. Nobody else can see, touch, or access anything your agent creates for you. Not other users, and not us either, unless you explicitly allow it. Your world is yours because it's physically impossible for it to be anyone else's.

What if intelligence could be personal?

Everyone's working on making AI smarter. We asked a different question: what if AI actually knew who you are? Your name, your story, your goals, your Tuesday. What if it remembered your last conversation — and the one before that, and the one from three weeks ago? What if it learned your meaning, not just your words? We launched Portal One+ on Valentine's Day with that question and two people willing to find out. This journal is the answer, one day at a time.

Before Portal
2025

Five US patents. Imagining what personal intelligence could become.

Before we wrote the first line of code, we imagined where it could go. Five patent applications covering how agents learn meaning, how memory persists across a lifetime, and how communication adapts between minds over time. We filed the future we wanted to build — and then we started building it.
